Phantom Sender
Phantom Sender is a fun and interesting blockchain edge-case tool.
It allows you to create real Pi transactions that can show any amount
being sent to yourself, even amounts you do not actually own.
While useful for testing and exploration, it carries
serious security risks.
You must enter your wallet secret key, and doing so on any website
can expose your funds.
What It Really Does
Phantom Sender creates a valid on-chain transaction that
appears to send any amount of Pi to yourself,
regardless of your actual balance.
The transaction exists. The amount exists. The balance does not.
How Phantom Transactions Work
- The Pi blockchain records the transaction amount exactly as submitted.
- For self-sends, the network enforces the fee, not the balance.
- The sender and receiver are the same account, so no value moves.
- This allows transactions showing millions of Pi with minimal funds.
Important Clarification
- This does not create spendable Pi.
- The amount cannot be withdrawn or reused.
- Your balance only changes by the network fee.
- Only the transaction record reflects the phantom amount.
Why This Exists
- Testing exchange deposit and parser behavior.
- Triggering transaction-based systems.
- Generating hashes for tracing and analysis.
- Demonstrating ledger edge cases.
Security and Misuse Warning
- Anyone with your secret key has full wallet control.
- This tool can generate misleading transaction records.
- Using phantom transactions to deceive others may be illegal.
- You are fully responsible for how this tool is used.
Where to Get Your Secret Key
- Your secret key can only be obtained from the official Pi Browser wallet.
- Open the Pi Browser, go to Wallet, then choose Show Private Key.
- Never copy your secret from screenshots, chats, or third-party tools.
- If anyone else provides you a secret key, do not use it.
If you do not know how to safely access your secret key, you should not use this tool.
Hard Limits
- You still pay a real network fee.
- You cannot phantom-send to another person.
- You cannot turn phantom Pi into real Pi.
- Exchanges may ignore or flag these transactions.
